Dr. Hidalgo earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from SUNY Purchase College, where she developed a strong foundation in the life sciences and cultivated her passion for medicine.
After college, she worked for four years at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, gaining invaluable experience in the pharmaceutical industry and further fueling her dedication to improving patient outcomes through research and innovation.

Dr. Hidalgo earned her medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York.
Residency
Dr. Hidalgo then completed her residency training at the prestigious Jacobi-Montefiore Emergency Medicine Residency Program, one of the busiest and most rigorous training programs in the United States.
During her four years of residency, Dr. Hidalgo also trained at Montefiore Medical Center, a top-tier trauma and emergency care facility consistently ranked among the top five busiest emergency departments in the nation.
Throughout her residency, Dr. Hidalgo was recognized for her exceptional clinical expertise, leadership, and compassionate patient care. She was honored with the Resident of the Year Award and the Most Compassionate Doctor Award upon graduation, highlighting her ability to provide outstanding care in even the most high-pressure environments.
Professional Experience
Past Positions
Following her residency, Dr. Hidalgo remained as an Emergency Medicine Attending Physician at Jacobi Medical Center, where she worked in high-acuity emergency care while also mentoring and training residents.
She further broadened her clinical and teaching experience during a two-year tenure at North Central Bronx Community Hospital.
In addition, Dr. Hidalgo served as Medical Director at Ellenville Regional Hospital for over three years, where she implemented new protocols to improve patient outcomes at this critical access hospital in the Catskills region.
Current Roles
In 2014, Dr. Hidalgo transitioned to the Hudson Valley in Upstate New York, where she has served as an Emergency Medicine Attending Physician at Kingston Hospital for over 10 years. She currently continues to provide exceptional care in the emergency department while also teaching Family Practice residents.
Dr. Hidalgo is also the Medical Director for the City of Kingston Fire Department, where she oversees emergency medical protocols and provides vital support to first responders.
Over the years, she has fostered unique connections with other doctors and specialists, which has enhanced her ability to offer comprehensive care to her patients.
